We've just gone live with TimZon.
TimZon is private video discussion solution aimed at helping enterprises collaborate across time zones (this is why it is asynchronous).
We built it using GWT as the primary client solution (with a little bit of native Javascript and Flash for good measure), it is currently authenticating against Google AuthSub for GMail and Google Apps users.
This was our first experience with GWT, and we plan to use it more going forward. We think that using GWT allows for a better user experience and was good for the development too.
We'd be interested in feedback from the GWT community (... and yes we know it started its life as the Google example mail application).
