The PowerMeeting framework provides a framework for cooperative persistent session management, which handles session creation, session participation, session participants, and the groupware tools and shared artefacts that are used in a session. The framework is built on a high-level cooperative model-view-control programming model for groupware development. This programming model is based on the GWT GUI event mechanism and the above mentioned transactional replicated data management service.
