I think Google Moderator GWT client communicates with the Python server by REST. At least i tested GAE successfuly that way.

I was just using Firebug to look how Moderator communicates with AppEngine. It uses a RPC/JSON mecanism. But I was not able to see if the backend was in Python or in another langage...

Is Google Moderator a GWT application running on GAE?

In that case, does it implement GWT RPC in python on the server side? If so, I am curious to know how GWT-RPC is done to traverse the java-javascript-python environment.

Yup same here, but without warning. The website just don't work on Safari.

I think it would be neat if your site could host user accounts so a person could regularly track portfolios. IMHO, this would definitely keep folks coming back for more.
